Teacher day 2024
Christ School celebrated Teacher's Day on September 5, 2024, with a heartfelt ceremony honoring the invaluable contributions of its educators. The event, hosted by Vaishnavi Gaonkar of Class 8, welcomed distinguished guests and respected retired teachers _ Madam Judith Shreshta, Madam Celine Eshwar, and Madam Mary Ninan. The Correspondent, Rev. Fr. Romeo Lewis, and Principal Ms. Eliza Vaz also honored these esteemed teachers for their service and dedication.
The program began with a graceful prayer dance by Class 6, creating a spiritual and uplifting atmosphere. A tribute was paid to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, with flowers offered by the Correspondent, Principal, and managing committee members in recognition of his lasting influence on education.
Madam Mary Ninan delivered an inspiring speech, sharing her wisdom and experience to motivate the audience. A touching dance-drama by Class 8 students highlighted the transformative role of teachers, followed by a values-based presentation from Class 4, both of which were met with warm applause. A lively dance by Class 8 boys and a special wishing song dedicated to the teachers added further joy to the celebration.
The event concluded with a sincere vote of thanks from Ms. Reshma Shetty, and the National Anthem marked the close, reflecting unity and profound respect for the teaching profession.
