Environment day

On the occasion of World Environment Day, our school conducted a meaningful and educational celebration aimed at promoting environmental awareness and responsibility among students.
 
All the students of class 4th and 8th, along with the principal and tearchers, assembled on the school ground in the morning. The event began with a short address by our respected Principal, who emphasized the importance of protecting nature and the role that young minds can play in preserving our environment.
 
As a highlight of the celebration, the Principal, accompanied by the teachers, demonstrated the process of planting a sapling. The children watched attentively as the steps were explained – from digging the soil, placing the sapling, covering it gently, and finally watering it. This hands-on demonstration encouraged students to connect with nature and understand the importance of tree plantation.
 
The students were highly enthusiastic and actively participated in the session. Some of them even expressed their willingness to plant saplings at home and take care of them as their own responsibility.
The event concluded with a collective pledge by the students and staff to contribute towards a cleaner and greener Earth.
 
Outcome:
