Cyber Security and Road Safety Awareness Programme

Christ School Interact Club organised a Cyber Security and Road Safety Awareness Programme on 15 November 2025 for the students of Classes VIII, IX and X. The programme was conducted in the presence of SI Hussain Sab (Traffic Police), Mr. Nilesh (Cyber Crime Police Station, Udupi), police officers Mr. Umesh Jogi, Mr. Wilfi D’Souza and Mr. Vasanth, along with members of the Interact Club, Rotary Club Manipal, the Principal Ms. Eliza Vaz and the Interact Club in-charge Ms. Elceeta Lobo.

The event began with collaring the President Shailesh by Sergeant-at-Arms Saanvi Salvankar.
SI Hussain Sab addressed the students on road safety, highlighting the dangers of overspeeding, mobile use while driving, and the importance of wearing helmets and seatbelts.
Mr. Nilesh spoke on cyber safety, creating awareness about cyberbullying, fake accounts, online scams and unsafe online games, and advised students to use the internet responsibly.

Certificates for the essay competition on the theme “Unite for Good” were distributed. The programme was compered by Master Shailesh
